I set out to be a writer — but along the way, I discovered that I’m just as passionate about helping others tell their stories as I am about writing my own.

For more than 20 years, I’ve worked as both an author and an independent editor, specializing in children’s literature, both family-friendly and faith-based, and educational writing. My editorial work ranges from picture books to YA novels as well as nonfiction, including memoirs, Bible studies, and even cookbooks, with a focus on polishing manuscripts while preserving the writer’s unique voice.  Incidentally, I am a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA).

On the writing side, I’ve published 400+ short stories for children in Union Gospel Press publications, countless reading comprehensions, scripts, and plays for young students in the field of educational supplementary teaching materials, and most recently my debut picture book, Meanwhile Back at the Manger (Ambassador International, 2025). My bylines also include articles in Today’s Christian Woman and Clubhouse Jr.

Over the years, I’ve partnered with publishers like Union Gospel Press and Ambassador International, served on the leadership team of Write2Ignite where I mentor, teach, and encourage aspiring writers, and in 2025 became a co-host of The Write2Ignite Podcast, interviewing children's authors about their books and experiences on the path to publication and beyond.
